Dragonfly painted and embroidered
on a background image of 1854 Store Ledger Paper

Using a scanner, I scanned a page of some 1854 Store Ledger Paper. The Handwriting is absolutely beautiful!

Next, I printed this ledger image on fabric using an ink jet printer.

I designed and painted the dragonfly on top of the ledger image.

The image was embellished by embroidering a fine metallic filament thread in the wings. (Soft Twisted Metallic Tiara; color T133)
